In early 2025, students from the Streib Education Center (SEC) took the lead in providing electrical services for a new Habitat for Humanity home in St. Charles County — a project built for a family of seven.
This wasn’t just an opportunity to practice fieldwork — it was a meaningful, hands-on experience that combined professional training with community impact.
“This project gave our students real-world responsibility and a chance to give back in a tangible, lasting way.”
From wire runs to fixture installs, SEC students worked side by side with Habitat staff, volunteers, and tradespeople to bring power and comfort to a future home — all while applying the core values that define the Streib way: innovation, excellence, and teamwork.

What This Project Represents:
Real-world experience for future electricians
A tangible gift to a family in need
Local commitment to skilled trades and training
Collaboration between the community and career development
