Streib is proud to offer the Streib Education Center, a four-year Registered Apprenticeship Program officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). This comprehensive program provides a pathway to becoming a journeyman electrician through a combination of:

• On-the-Job Training: Gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside experienced Streib electricians for 8,000 hours.

• Related Classroom Instruction: Expand your knowledge and comprehension with classroom education covering electrical theory, code requirements, and safety protocols.

Benefits & Structure:

• Full-Time Employment: Apprentices are hired as full-time employees at Streib with benefits starting after a successful probationary period.

• Flexible Education: Classroom instruction takes place one night per week from mid-August to mid-May, allowing apprentices to balance work and learning.

• Structured Development: Our program ensures apprentices receive a minimum of 144 hours of classroom education per year.

• Become a Journeyman Electrician: Upon successful completion of the program's requirements, apprentices will earn journeyman electrician status through Streib Company and the U.S. Department of Labor's Office.
